Online Giving

Why give?
We give in response to all God has done for us. Gloria Dei is financially dependent on God's provisions. These provisions primarily come through the generous and faithful gifts of the people who care about the ministry of Gloria Dei.

There are two ways you can give online with an Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT):

· Bank Account through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) or
· Debit/Credit Card

With the convenience of EFT, you can make gifts to Gloria Dei through pre-authorized withdrawals from your bank account. You determine the designation, the amount and frequency of your gift. Giving online through recurring or one-time gifts by debit/credit cards incur about a 4% fee that is paid by the church but pre-authorized withdrawals from your bank account can incur a fee up to $5 max to save on costs. You also have the option to cover the fees so the church can receive your full original donation as well.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and unless otherwise specified, donations to Gloria Dei are tax-deductible charitable contributions.  For tax purposes, contributions to GDLC must be received or postmarked by December 31st to be recorded in the current tax year. Online giving transactions must be processed and confirmed by midnight of December 31st to be included on the donor’s contribution statement. Contribution statements for the current tax year will be mailed by January 31st of the new year.
